If you know how to walk, you can learn to contra! We're a group of contra dancers who love to meet new people, dance to live music and have a good time. The Round Hill Country Dancers meet to dance once a month with a live band and caller. We also visit nearby dances. No background or prior experience is needed. Come join us on the dance floor!

The NYC Barn Dance was created by David Harvey in October 2006 as a monthly event designed to give New Yorkers an opportunity to experience - through dance - the traditional Anglo-Irish-Scottish dance music being played in the city and elsewhere. This experience stands in stark contrast to how this music is often experienced in NYC: at spaces where dancing is difficult or prohibited. We are a Family Friendly square dance club. We dance the Mainstream program with Rounds. All ages are welcome. Singles/Couples welcome. If you know, at least, the Mainstream Program of MWSD you can dance with our club. If you want to learn, ask us.
